As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.
Professional Counseling from a Christian Worldview
Healing happens in relationship.
At Abide Christian Counseling, we believe that relationships are everything - with God and with each other. We believe change comes not from doing more, or being better, but from growing deeper into God's love.
It is our mission to offer therapy that provides deep change, freedom in truth, healing through Jesus, and renewed connection in love. We offer therapy to all New Mexico individuals - adults, teens, and their families - who are interested in professional counseling from a Christian worldview.

Meet Kristin Boyd
Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Hi, I'm Kristin, welcome to Abide! I currently am a licensed mental health counselor in New Mexico, and I have been engaged in some part of the mental health world since I was in high school. I have spent time serving as a peer counselor in a pregnancy resource center, worked as a substance abuse counselor, led various therapy groups, conducted original research in the psychology world, and have had the privilege to walk alongside many teens and adults in their healing journey. I am passionate about healthy relationships and secure attachments with God and with others; I believe there is nothing more important, and that we are hard wired to be in relationship. And I am passionate about doing the hard and worthy work in therapy that, through the power of the Holy Spirit, leads to individual healing and ultimately healing in relationships.

Outside of the mental health world, I really love being outside, specifically hiking or walking in nature, and gardening. I enjoy reading, the quiet of the early morning, the season of fall, football, scrapbooking, and spending quality time with my family, husband, and son.

If you are ready for the next step of your healing journey, contact us, I look forward to talking with you and getting to know you!
Services

Healing does not happen in a vacuum. Healing happens in relationship - with God and with others. When you take the risk to reach out to connect with another, the hope of healing is possible.
